Tickets for events - released 17 April 2019
Although most Late Shows venues hold free, drop-in events, there are some that require pre-booking to manage demand. This year all tickets for events that require booking will be released at 10am on Wednesday 17 April, on a first-come-first-served basis. See details of these events below.
Friday 17 May
Victoria Tunnel - 6-9pm - 'Women in Wartime' talks every 30 minutes exploring the role of women on Tyneside during WW2.
Saturday 18 May
Swing Bridge - Take a free guided tour of the iconic Grade II listed Swing Bridge - a scheduled ancient monument.
Dippy on Tour at Great North Museum: Hancock - A very special opportunity to see the Natural History Museum’s iconic dinosaur skeleton cast after dark.
Alphabetti Theatre - The last night of award winning Geordie writer, Steve Byron’s new play, Floorboards. Tickets are part of Alphabetti’s Pay What You Feel scheme.
BALTIC39 - Discover this distinctive Grade II listed building in an evening guided tour with BALTIC Crew.
Bessie Surtees House - Rare tours of some of the beautiful Jacobean rooms in Bessie Surtees House.
Tyneside Cinema - 4-7pm, Twi-Lates - A special screening of Mid 90s, the directorial debut of actor Jonah Hill (Superbad, 21 Jump Street, Maniac), a tale of skateboarding and youthful rebellion in nineties LA. This screening is free for 15-18 year olds.
Dynamix Skatepark - Try skateboarding, bmx-ing, scootering, or inline skating, aerial circus (rope, hoop and silks) and wall-trampoline. Book your taster session.
Gateshead Library - 4-7pm, Twi-Lates - Free drama workshop with Mortal Fools for 12-17 year olds.
