The NewBridge Project
The NewBridge Project est. 2010 is an artist-led space that supports artists, curators and communities through the provision of space for creative practice, curatorial opportunities and an ambitious artist-led programme of exhibitions, commissions, artist development and events.

Visit The NewBridge Project’s new space at the Shieldfield Centre and explore the bookshop, gallery, print studio and project space.
Join their fantastic team of printmakers in the NewBridge Print Studio for a range of drop-in activities, where you will have a chance to try screen-printing and risograph printing techniques.
Visit ‘Promises from Paradise’, an exhibition of new work by artists Igor Tavares and Rebeca Romero which explores themes of ancestral knowledge, cultural identity, belonging, community building and potential futures.
First year students from Newcastle University will also be presenting new work in the Project Space.
