35. 50 Years of The Iron Man

For the 50th Anniversary of Ted Hughes’ The Iron Man, Newcastle Arts Centre will celebrate it at The Late Shows. Using The Iron Man as a subject and motif they will be encouraging visitors to participate in a number of practical projects, assisted by experienced artists, teachers, and the North of England Art Club. This will include Printmaking, Drawing, fun sculpture, and an exhibition of illustrations. Meanwhile in in their performance venue, The Black Swan, there will be live music from Afro-Brazillian Jazz band Caravela
