The oldest purpose built Masonic Hall in Northumberland (only one year younger than the rebuilt hall at Beamish Museum) is still in use by active Masonic orders including Craft Masonry, Chapter, Mark and Women’s Order.
The Lodge Room with its impressive stained glass and ornate furniture is original and dates from 1870.
