14th May Saturday Only
Open: 7-11pm
To accompany our current exhibition, ‘Vinyl Icons: Persian Pop and Turkish Psychedelia’, visitors are invited to a 1960s and ’70s vintage style consultation resulting in a Polaroid photograph by acclaimed international photographer Cyrus Mahboubian. Clothes and props will be provided. Vane is also premiering two exhibitions: ‘Transparent Things’ presents sculptures and installations by four artists who display a minimal yet playful approach to the unique qualities of their chosen materials’ inherent properties. ‘Seeing a Who’ brings together Gateshead based Michael Mulvihill and Pasadena, USA based Elizabeth Saveri, who both explore big themes through the medium of miniature paintings and drawings.
