World song, poetry, dance, food and fabric from the diverse communities making up St Dominic’s: Angola, Cameroun, Congo, Geordieland, Ireland, Philippines and Portugal, woven together by North-East based Eliot Smith Dance Company. Interactive game weaving religious and fashion symbols and installation in church from Wessie Ling. Sacred fabrics past and present with Margaret Barker. Children’s drawing and face-painting from our different cultures. Music with the choirs of St Dominic’s and Benedict Biscop, and modern instruments, interspersed and woven with the dances.
