Based in the historical Gateshead Old Town Hall, artists from East Street Arts will be opening up their studio spaces to the public. Join artists on an exploration of the old Victorian police cells and assist in the creation of a large scale installation. There will be hourly printmaking demonstrations inspired by and using natural forms by printmaker Cath Walshaw. Throughout the evening artists will be on hand to talk about their working processes, pop along to participate, visit and purchase works of art from locally based artists.
