The Pottery Studio will be in full swing again with the public invited to have a go at making a pot on the ‘wheel’, plus making pots entirely by hand, plus making decorative tiles all out of clay, with the option of having the work glazed and fired for collection later. Also there will be an exhibition of Art and Ceramics. The Pottery Studio and Gallery is located in an attractive courtyard, that was once the courtyard of a Roman Milecastle about 1800 years ago some of which is visible, the Milecastle and wild gardens will be attractively illuminated.
