The Biscuit Factory is the UK’s largest independent contemporary art, craft & design gallery set in the heart of Newcastle’s cultural quarter. Housed in a former Victorian warehouse, our beautiful gallery spaces are set over two floors, displaying a range of contemporary fine art, sculpture, original prints and jewellery, quality craftsmanship and design led homewares from over 200 artists every season.

Calling all foodies! Inspired by the recent discovery of original artefacts relating to our biscuit-making heritage, we’ve a trove of treats to share with you. Indulge your inner Patissier and design your own confection to add to our giant plate mural. Suggest some interesting flavour combinations and they could end up on our next afternoon tea menu! Author and illustrator Faye Hanson will help you create your own print to take home and we’ll also have freshly baked biscuits for you to decorate and eat as well as live music and much more!
