NewBridge Books invites you to a night celebrating cassette tape culture. Individuals and record labels will be sharing their gems from compact cassettes ‘golden age’ and be showcasing brand new mixes. Experience sounds from various corners of the world - from African disco to field recordings of Polish frogs, Burmese pop and new synth sounds from Canada. We’ll be digging out our Ghetto blasters and Walkmans so bring along your old cassettes and homemade tapes - with live DJ.
